With the fall comes fall sports and William has enjoyed his first season in baseball, though the "baseball" term is used loosely. Each team allowed up to four free pitches from the coach and then the players would swing at the ball set on a tee. No outs, no scores, no problems. It was a relaxed way to introduce William to organized sports. We had a lot of fun attending the games and watching the boys' enthusiasm for getting to play in dirt.
We went to the pumpkin patch this year with some family and enjoyed the quiet that comes with going early in the season in the middle of the week. William has been several times but this was Weston's first time with the gourds.
Some other fun things we have been able to enjoy have included Legoland and the BYU football game at Cowboy Stadium. Jessica's sister Jana and her husband Drew came into town to watch the football game with Jessica and me. It was a fun time though the score wasn't what we would have liked. We sat amongst friends and the experience was a good one. The drive to and from the stadium provided us with opportunity to catch up on each others' lives.
Legoland has rolled into Grapevine Mills and Jessica took William there to exercise his creative side, though there for only a few hours, William seemed to really enjoy himself and through himself into creating structures with the plastic boxes. But since the blog won't load any more images for some reason, these images will have to wait.
