A Mother's Dream

OK so I have to tell you about last night and how much I love my son for what he did. Now remember he is only 15 months old. With us being gone for about 3 weeks and changing time zones 3 different times it has been really hard getting William back onto a normal schedule, but I think last night it all finally caught up with him. We are trying to get him into bed at least by 8, of course as the school year gets closer and closer we will have to move that time up because he will be getting up earlier, but like I said we are trying to get him back onto a schedule. So at 8 last night I said, "William let's go get your PJ's on," and started walking into his room, he got in front of me and went into his room, found his PJ's and handed them to me. I changed him with no fussing, which for William is amazing. After we had his PJ's on I said, "William it's time to brush your teeth." He heading for the bathroom and reached his tooth brush and handed it to me I put tooth paste on it and gave it back and he brushed his teeth. When he was done he let me help (which there again NEVER happens). I said "William go get a book a read," he went and picked out a book and by the time I got into the room he was sitting in the chair with his book waiting for me. We read the book and when we were done he said "all done", climbed down and went over to his crib. I asked for a kiss goodnight - he gave me one, I laid him down and he didn't make another sound till this morning. What more could a Mother ask for. Now we will have to see how tonight goes.
